The companies say <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/fox-corporation-to-acquire-roku-inc-302800220.html\">in a statement<\/a> that by combining they\u2019ll become the third-largest player in the US TV industry by viewing share.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">It doesn\u2019t sound like the plan is to build Roku and Fox into a walled ecosystem.
