It reads: \u201cIdentical to H.R. 100 (118th Congress).11:25 AM????Claude responded: Requires the Secretary of Defense to designate Department of Defense activities, support, and operations at the southwest land border as a named operation with\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">At first, Luna\u2019s response seemingly indicated Claude had been used for amendment text. Her post said that \u201cstaff used AI to correct a draft text and didn\u2019t edit.\u201d Luna added: \u201cNot a shocker. Most staff use it. I have told them to make sure they are double checking and more thorough.\u201d After users on X began speculating that her staff is using the technology to write bills, Luna <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RepLuna\/status\/2069848227398963384?s=20\">edited her response<\/a>: \u201cYeah my staff used AI to spell\/grammar check the amendment SUMMARY, not the actual amendment text itself,\u201d her post now reads.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">She followed <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RepLuna\/status\/2069842990642733421?s=20\">it up with another<\/a>: \u201cFYI NO Legislation is ever drafted with AI. All bill text from the House comes from the House Legislative Council which is prohibited from using AI.
