This year, Mercury will be in retrograde from June 29 to July 23. However, as with any retrograde period, there are \u201cshadow\u201d periods that exist before and after the official retrograde. As the retrograde occurs in the sign of Cancer this time around, there will be an emphasis on your domestic life. This could involve home renovations, family discussions, or the need to pay more attention to your own emotional state. “Some may feel the urge to return to a place where they once felt at home, to revive family traditions, or to resolve long-standing issues,” says Tetiana Tsvil, an astrologer and spiritual advisor at Nebula<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Mercury retrograde does have its positives\u2014it can be a great time to finish things you’ve already started. Think organizing, catching up on unfinished projects, reviewing old plans, or finally tackling things you’ve been meaning to get to.
