The company is also testing four new iPad Pros that are set to launch in the spring with a focus on \u201cinternal improvements.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">The updated MacBook Pro, which will keep the 14-inch screen size, will have a design that\u2019s \u201cin line\u201d with what Apple is planning for the touch screen MacBooks it also has in the works, <em>Bloomberg<\/em> says. Those new touch screen laptops are set to be released between \u201cthe end of this year and early next year,\u201d and <em>Bloomberg<\/em> has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-02-24\/apple-s-touch-screen-macbook-pro-to-have-dynamic-island-new-interface\">previously reported<\/a> that they will get <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/tech\/884089\/apple-touchscreen-macbook-pro-dynamic-island\">a Dynamic Island-like pill<\/a> at the top of the screen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">Apple last updated the base MacBook Pro in October with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/797850\/apple-macbook-pro-m5-announcement-price-specs\">an M5 chip bump<\/a>. The company is working on an M6 processor, and <em>Bloomberg<\/em> says that Apple \u201cfinished work months ago\u201d a different base MacBook Pro upgrade that keeps the laptop\u2019s present design and is scheduled to launch this year. Apple will quickly move to the M7 line in 2027, including new Pro and Max chips, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-06-25\/apple-to-skip-high-end-m6-mac-chips-to-launch-m7-pro-m7-max-m7-ultra-instead?leadSource=uverify%20wall\"><em>Bloomberg<\/em> previously reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">As for the iPad Pros, <em>Bloomberg<\/em> says that they\u2019ll retain 11-inch and 13-inch screens.
