As part of the new partnership, Anthropic will deploy up to 2 gigawatts of AMD\u2019s Instinct MI450 AI GPUs using the chipmaker\u2019s new Helios rack-scale system, as reported <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/tech\/ai\/amd-and-anthropic-sign-major-chips-and-investment-deal-4adfdc45\">earlier by <em>The Wall Street Journal<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">The companies plan to deploy the first gigawatt in the first half of 2027, building upon recent data center deals Anthropic has reached <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/science\/935229\/spacex-anthropic-ipo-ai-capacity-deal-colossus\">with SpaceX<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/ai-artificial-intelligence\/961722\/anthropic-signs-20-year-lease-agreement-for-an-ai-data-center-in-kentucky\">TeraWulf<\/a>.
