What are you wearing these days? Half of me is still in summer-vacation mode, and the other half is already pining for layers. J.Crew<\/a> just released their August drop<\/a>, and IT IS SO GOOD \u2014 think:\u00a0slip dresses<\/a>, chunky knits<\/a>, and bright greens<\/a> that feel right out of Gwyneth\u2019s Great Expectations<\/em>. Here are my favorite picks, and I\u2019d love to hear what you think\u2026<\/p>\n

This reversible sweater<\/a> is a two-for-one: Wear it buttoned in the front as a cardigan, or flip it around so it\u2019s a rollneck. How would you style it?<\/p>\n

And, of course, we love J.Crew\u2019s classic rollneck<\/a> \u2014 I got my first one when I was 18 and heading to college! I love the slouchy fit and 80s\/90s vibes. The new colors are great, especially these stripes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These silky pieces<\/a> are actually made of cupro (also known as \u201cvegan silk\u201d \u2014 how cool?). It\u2019s light and fluttery, and has just a hint of sheen. The best part is you can toss everything into the washing machine. <\/p>\n

Wouldn\u2019t these drawstring Luna pants<\/a> be perfect for traveling? They\u2019re 100% cotton and loose enough for a long flight or a squishy car ride, but they still have a tailored look. This vibrant green<\/a> looks crisp and fun, and they have corduroy ones<\/a> that are perfect for fall.<\/p>\n

Oh my gosh, I love, love, love this canvas car coat<\/a>. You could wear it over anything \u2014\u00a0sweaters, jeans, dresses \u2014 and it would even pair well with Wellington boots (it\u2019s water-resistant). Makes me excited for drizzly days and puddle jumping.<\/p>\n

Finally, ballet flats<\/a> are forever-cool and so easy for fall. They have a ton of colors, but I\u2019m into this bright red<\/a> and this green lizard-embossed leather<\/a>.<\/p>\n
