Microsoft is working on an AI \u201csuper app\u201d that combines Copilot\u2019s chat, coding, and agentic capabilities. During an earnings call on Wednesday, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said the app will span \u201cboth consumer and commercial experiences\u201d when it launches this year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cCopilot is evolving rapidly from chat to Cowork to Autopilots,\u201d Nadella said. \u201cThis quarter, we are bringing these Copilot experiences together, including code, in one super app\u2026 This is a major step forward, and I look forward to sharing more soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Nadella\u2019s confirmation comes months after a report from Fortune<\/em> revealed that Microsoft<\/a> is working on a super app that blends its Copilot chatbot, GitHub Copilot coding assistant, Copilot Cowork, and its agentic Autopilot system. Along with Microsoft, OpenAI recently revealed its new ChatGPT Work app<\/a>, which combines ChatGPT and its AI coding tool Codex.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
