A new <a href=\"https:\/\/support.nintendo.com\/jp\/switch2\/update\/index.html#content\">23.0.0 firmware update<\/a> now adds VRR support to the Switch 2 when it\u2019s docked and in TV mode.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">VRR adjusts a display\u2019s refresh rate to match a game\u2019s frame rate, smoothing out gameplay and reducing screen tearing. It will be particularly useful for games on the Switch 2 that have an unstable framerate, and it\u2019s a feature that the PS5 and Xbox Series S \/ X all support.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">The latest Switch 2 firmware also includes a new toggle for handheld boost mode in quick settings, as well as an update to the Mii editor that lets you enable music for some nostalgic Wii, 3DS, or Wii U Mii creation.
