{"id":7871,"date":"2026-09-29T23:17:28","date_gmt":"2026-09-29T23:17:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/silvybrand.com\/?p=7871"},"modified":"2026-09-29T23:17:28","modified_gmt":"2026-09-29T23:17:28","slug":"range-rover-sport-electric-arrives-with-more-for-less","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/silvybrand.com\/?p=7871","title":{"rendered":"Range Rover Sport Electric: Price, Specs, Availability"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span class=\"lead-in-text-callout\">Sandwiched between the<\/span> launch of the long-awaited full-fat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wired.com\/story\/the-range-rover-electric-has-finally-arrived\/\" class=\"text link\">Range Rover Electric<\/a> at the start of September and the upcoming final reveal of the much-anticipated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wired.com\/story\/jaguar-type-00-ev-first-ride-it-still-looks-odd-but-it-is-seriously-quick\/\" class=\"text link\">Jaguar Type 01<\/a> in New York City next week, comes\u2014with considerably less fanfare\u2014JLR&#8217;s Range Rover Sport Electric.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">However, considering that Range Rover Sport sales often run close to, or occasionally slightly higher than, the flagship Range Rover, thanks in part to its lower price, this all-electric version of the Sport could be just as important for an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/articles\/c36lx560jjko\" class=\"text link\">embattled JLR<\/a>. The automaker announced earlier this month that it is cutting 4,000 jobs over the next two years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">According to JLR, the performance SUV has the stiffest body (unsurprising, considering the battery placement) and lowest center of gravity of any Range Rover Sport model, as well as a faster torque response than the Range Rover Electric\u201450 percent faster, apparently.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">Crucially, the Sport gets the same powertrain as the Range Rover, but at a lower price (from \u00a3109,810, no US prices yet) and with different tuning. Like its larger sibling, the two 260-kilowatt motors dish out up to 550 pferdest\u00e4rke (PS) and 850 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque (more than any other Range Rover Sport to date). It can go from standstill to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds if you&#8217;re in the EV&#8217;s Dynamic Launch Mode.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">As for range, Range Rover claims the Sport with its 118.5-kilowatt-hour battery will get up to 374 miles on the <a data-offer-url=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Worldwide_Harmonised_Light_Vehicles_Test_Procedure\" class=\"external-link text link\" data-event-click=\"{&quot;element&quot;:&quot;ExternalLink&quot;,&quot;outgoingURL&quot;:&quot;https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Worldwide_Harmonised_Light_Vehicles_Test_Procedure&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Worldwide_Harmonised_Light_Vehicles_Test_Procedure\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WLTP standard<\/a>, which should mean about 320 miles under the EPA&#8217;s stricter testing.
