Meta\u2019s new consumer-facing AI agent, Muse, topped the App Store charts soon after its release and has 600,000 daily active users in the US, by an Apptopia estimate. And AI agent platform Instinct, whose eponymous creator is fundraising at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/tech\/ai\/the-latest-viral-ai-assistant-rocketing-across-silicon-valley-abb46276\">$2.5 billion<\/a> valuation, has been making the rounds in the tech industry. Under the hood, though, there are some obvious similarities to the platform that started it all: OpenClaw.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b3 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1 _1h4u4kv5\">For the past week or so, some social media users have <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/anshnanda\/status\/2101905052172734884?s=20\">alleged<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/1577315533418837\/posts\/1777291720087883\/\">that<\/a> Muse is directly built on OpenClaw. The two platforms use the same names for core files (SOUL.md, memory, tools, etc.), and have a lot of similar lines in the doc that governs personality, tone, and more (\u201cBe genuinely helpful, not performatively helpful\u201d). They also have a similar design.
