Discovery. Ynon Kreiz, previously Mattel\u2019s chairman and CEO, will be joining Paramount to lead alongside chairman and CEO David Ellison.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">According <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paramount.com\/press\/chairman-and-ceo-david-ellison-announces-ynon-kreiz-co-ceo-of-the-anticipated-combined-paramount-and-warner-bros-discovery-at-closing-to-help-build-the-next-generation-global-media-company\">to Paramount<\/a>, \u201cEllison will focus on the company\u2019s long-term strategy, creative vision and direction, including its talent relationships, strategic partnerships, technology and capital allocation. Kreiz will focus on the company\u2019s day-to-day management and integration of the combined businesses.\u201d The combined Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery will \u201creport jointly\u201d to Ellison and Kreiz.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">Kreiz joined Mattel in 2018. While he was leading the company, it launched the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2023\/8\/6\/23816979\/barbie-box-office-earnings-greta-gerwig\">hit <em>Barbie<\/em> film<\/a> in partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures.
